Common questions

Before you buy.

What's the difference between a blend and a single origin?
A blend combines beans from multiple farms or regions for a consistent, balanced flavor — Big Joe and Bob and Weave are blends. A single origin comes from one farm or region and showcases that spot's specific flavor profile — Ethiopian Jab and the rotating Southpaw single origin are ours. Blends are great everyday coffee; single origins are for exploring a specific flavor.
What sizes do your bags come in?
Every coffee is available in 12-ounce and 5-pound bags. Twelve ounces is a great way to try a new roast; five pounds suits households that go through coffee quickly or want to stock up.
Which coffee is best for espresso?
Southpaw Espresso is built specifically for crema and body, but Bob and Weave and Dark and Dangerous also pull well as espresso thanks to their bold, dark-roast profile — pick whichever flavor note you prefer.
Is the Southpaw actually good decaf?
Yes — Southpaw is a medium-roast decaf processed to remove caffeine without stripping flavor. If you have written off decaf before, try it. It is a proper cup.
